PROVISIONAL LICENSE LAW

The minimum age to obtain a permit is 15 ½ yrs.
The minimum age to obtain a license is 16 yrs.

If you are under 18 years of age, you must to obtain a provisional driver’s license, you must:

  • Must complete a Driver's Education course.

  • Be at least 15 1/2 years old

  • Have your parent’s permission

  • Complete 30 hours of Driver’s Education

  • Pass permit test

  • Complete 6 hours of Behind-the-Wheel Training, and receive the Certificate of Completion certificate

  • Complete 60 hours of supervised driving, 10 hours of supervised driving must be at night.

  • Have your permit for a minimum of 6 months

  • Take and pass the Drive Test

While we focus on developing skills in order to pass the driving test, we also instill driving courtesy.

Cancellation of behind-the-wheel appointment(s) must be made 48 hrs. prior to the scheduled appt.
Failure of 48 hr. notice will result in a $75 cancellation fee.
